What is the GRM?
The GRM is an online platform that utilises ground level data to showcase global land restoration projects, spanning from large multi-country programs to local grassroots initiatives. We focus on the restoration of degraded agricultural, rural, and forested lands with a significant focus on the sustainable development of smallholder farmers. Our approach to restoration encompasses more than just planting trees. Through restoration activities and holistic programming, we aim to achieve positive outcomes for both people and nature.

Land restoration is the ongoing process of supporting the recovery of degraded landscapes. We adopt a forward-looking approach to land restoration where both environmental and social values are achieved from the landscape.
Restoration is about collaboration.
We work alongside local communities, farmers, and leading research, technical, and development organisations to support land restoration projects globally. We work together to enable farmers and forest-dependent communities to restore their degraded lands, and improve the sustainability, profitability and reliability of their farming and forest systems.
